“Prior to meeting Miss Tan, I was struggling with Mathematics and often got E8, F9 or C6 at best. Miss Tan had been tremendous in helping me to grasp Mathematical concepts, by using examples to explain the questions, and encouraged me to persevere when I was demoralised. I eventually achieved A2 for A-Math and B3 for E-math. Miss Tan's teaching style was different from lessons in school as she was very patient in explaining every question that I had. She was also very encouraging, and when I felt that I had disappointed her with results that were lower than expectations, she never doubted my potential.
